Ok, I have the crypto2.0 and crypto2.3 libraries, but am having a
hard time extracting *just* the MD5 or SHA code from it. I need
to use this in a system where a C++ compiler isn't available,
and memory is very tight.
I'm also not sure of they copyright status - I can use the library,
but if I take out just that code, am I still covered by the
usage of the library, or do I have to get specific permission
from those authors, even through they gave permission for use
in the library. In other words, by giving permission to use
in the library have the original authors rights been over-ridden by
the use restrictions of the library as a whole?
In any case - can someone point me to an MD5 or SHA implementation
in straight C (or c++ without all the extra buffer mgmt stuff)
that could be used in a commercial application?
Thanks,
Dan
