If you had told me what you found that was not any use I might have been
better able to suggest things.  I used google and searched using two
words, SVG and OpenGL and found a few things that looked promising but
perhaps you arleady saw them and considered them unsuitable.

Looks like Amaya OpenGL takes SVG and renders it on an OpenGL canvas.
