Re: A matter of principle [Re: HIGification of dialog boxes]

Hi all!

(I refering to 0.90 version; dont know whether this has improved)

The undo button you are taking about, would be good to solve this
"problem"?

We usually work during many minutes with the "same" diagram changing
many times the content of one or more instances of "UML - Object"s to
see how that affect the behabior of the circuit. So we save the
diagram very frequently too.

We usually work this way:

1) Double-Click on an instance of UML- Object (to open the Properties
Dialog Window)
2) Make changes
3) Click the Apply Button

4) Double-Click on other instance of UML- Object
5) Make changes
6) Click the Apply Button

and so on...

But, if we forget step 3 before step 4, we lose without a warning,
all changes we had done (and don`t now whether they can be recovered).

For this problem (and may be it is already solved in version 0.91!), I
think it would be nice that Dia was very aware of changes made on this
Properties Window after the last "apply" and coud warn the user before
accepting to change properties for another instance.
