Had to change the menus_get_item_from_path to return a GtkMenuItem rather
than GtkWidget.  Now I have the input methods menu working!  I can't test
whether the gnome version works right now.

Now if only the font size stuff would work, we'd be more or less ready for
a release, IMHO.
