Already done; "ssmail" at http://www.home.aone.net.au/qualcomm does it.
I've been told that the patch still works on the newer sendmail, and it
uses SOBER, not Blowfish, but that would be easy to hack in (or Arcfour
would be even easier being a drop in replacement).
