I have since received private communications from him. He states that
someone has subscribed his company to the mailing list in order to cause
harassment, and he is trying to get word to the list owner to remove him. I
pointed out he could just post his message directly to the list rather than
hitting me with it, as I have nothing to do with the list management, and
don't even know who runs it!
