If I read through the Hype(tm) properly, the ASK ToolKit(tm) is an
application that sits on both ends of a transmission, and handles "key
exchange", perhaps even "generating" the Keys(tm) itself.
Could DES(r)(tm)(p) be resurrected with something that handles its
keys for it?
No.(tm)
The problem with DES(r)(tm)(p) isn't that it loses track of its keys,
or that its Users(tm) use them improperly, but that the whole keyspace
can be brute-force searched, in Very Little Time(tm), for Very Little
Money(tm).
(Actually, I probably fell into some sort of Trap(tm) by following the
bait over to the web site... the question is so inane that I debate
whether it can be serious...)
