dia gdk warning

Hi, sorry if this is a common problem, I didn't see anything in the
faq.
After trying dia win32 versions 0.88.1 and 0.89pre I keep getting the same
error message (Gdk-WARNING**: gdkgc-win32.c:934: ReleaseDC failed)
soon after running the program. I also had to create my own c:\home dir.
Has anyone else had this message, or know how to fix it.
