Here's an odd little success story for Dia. I'm the president of the
University's photography club, and we're having Scott Mutter coming down to
give a talk. We are going to advertise it with little table stands, which
I was to make. Well, I tried a number of programs, including M$ Word,
AbiWord, KWord and Scribus. None of them did what I needed. Turning back
to Dia, I fixed a bug in the EPS image export and gave it a try there.
Using epsffit to turn an EPS file into PS (the printing gave weird
headaches) I managed to get some quite nice output. Strange that Dia,
which is not designed for this, should turn out to work the best.
