Error when using Dia

Hi, 

I used to report a problem of using Dia for vertical
alignment. The error output is:

dia: connectionpoint_ops.c:110
diagram_update_connections_object: Assertion
'handle!=((void *)0)' failed

Can any one help me to solve this problem? My dia
vertion is 0.89 and is compiled from
dia-CVS-20020329-0823.tar.gz.
