It is (from August 1997) and I have.

arcbot@notatla.demon.co.uk has a mail autoresponder and is searchable
with the 'grep' command, by date, by sender, by thread and by keyword
(not that anybody sets keywords to help the indexing).
keywords: archive

There's a help command too. With this being dial-up you may have to wait
a day or so for a reply. Perry's cryptography list is archived in the same
place.
