There are a few experiences with PGP-enhanced mailing list
processors created for FITUG e.V. (Foerderverein fuer
Informationstechnologie) and CCC (Chaos Computer Club) in Germany.
These PGP-enhanced list processors are used for confidential
internal mailing lists. The list has a separate key pair. The public
key of the list is widely distributed to all subscribers and others.
When requesting to be subscribed, every participant has to file his
personal public key. Contributions to the list are to be ciphered
using the public key of the list. The PGP-enhanced list processor
decrypts the contribution using the private key of the list which
must be present on the server machine and re-encrypts it afterwards
with the keys of the subscribers. For details please contact me
directly or send a PM e.g. to Lutz Donnerhacke (e.g. via
lutz.donnerhacke@jena.thur.de) for technical matters.
