Usually this is correct, you drop them down in application directory and
they should work fine.

There is also a prefered method: copy dlls to System directory and run
"dllregsvr dll_name". This will get them registered. This is also the
method used by most of the installers.

If you want to know more about a dll use quick view on it by shift -
wright clicking on the dll, and choose quick view from the popup menu.
