The August Cypherpunks Meeting will be Saturday 8/8 from 12-6pm.
Phase 1, from 12-1:30pm, will be a tour of the EFF DES Cracker Machine,
in Santa Clara.
Phase 2, from 2-6pm, will be at Stanford University,
at the tables outside Tresidder Union, which is near the bookstore.
The tables are on the west side, which is the inside of the U-shape.
Coffee and food are available in the building.
Presentations for Phase 2 include
- "Private Doorbells" - John Bashinski of Cisco
The most recent proposed wiretapping compromise.
- "Freedom product from Zero-Knowledge Systems" - Ian Goldberg
The one line summary is "onion routing and mixmaster on steroids"

Stanford is between El Camino Real and Junipero Serra Blvd,
which are between 101 and 280. The Tresidder Parking Lot
is on Mayfield Ave, off Campus Drive East.
