Hi, thanks to you all for your frank answers, this is why this list is so
great.

You might be interested , if you are not already aware, in that MS, NS, VS
and Cisco have submitted their agenda/drafts to the IETF for PKIX using DSA.
The common thread throughout is that there is no patented technology used
and that interoperability is part of the overall scheme.(they even overcome
Entrusts CRL patent)
