SEAL has been attacked, actually.

I'm personally very skeptical of the claim made that the application
in question needs "very high speed". It is rare that I see any real
end user applications that don't do fine with fairly slow algorithms,
because they usually don't process megabits of data a second. You need
speed when you are moving video or encrypting a whole network.
