I'm unable to comment about prime generation, but there have been a number
of studies into arithmatic abilities of idiot savants (and regular
arithmatic savant's like von Neuman), which are highly suggestive
of non-optimal computational abilities. i.e time taken to produce the
n^2 takes O(log(n)_10^3) time etc.
