I'm thinking the properties (StdProp), as you mention, are the most
important thing to fix. This should go a long way towards making the UML
objects behave normally, like other dia objects.

I wish i had time to help with coding. Maybe some day. I'm not set up for
doing C programming under Windows anyway.

Are there any specific improvements you're thinking of?  Some may be simple
fixes that we can do quickly.
