That would have to be the case, like the UML Small Package, for instance.
We wouldn't be able to do continuous updates, naturally, but it would be
updated as part of 'Apply'.

Not being familiar with Metapost, I'd appreciate more info on the
colorlessness.  The code does some color handling, so there must be a bug
in there somewhere.  Any hints would be appreciated.

As for XFig, if you send me a diagram that is improperly exported, I shall
certainly take a look, it's one of my darlings:)
