Check out kcachegrind (http://kcachegrind.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/show.cgi),
which makes use of valgrind (http://developer.kde.org/~sewardj/)
Works really well!  (IMHO)

(Ya, it's a KDE tool, and Dia is GTK, but it's still a pretty sweet tool!)
