problems compiling CVS on FreeBSD

Hi all,

let me introduce myself: My name is Jarda Benkovsky and I
intent to spent some of my spare time on dia development.

I am trying to compile CVS dia on FreeBSD 4.6 and without luck.
Hopefully somebody will be able to help me?

If something turns out to be a genuine bug and not just my problem,
I promise to full a bugreport :)


autoconf: 2.53
automake: 1.5
libtool: 1.3.4-freebsd-ports
intltool: 0.22
gettext: 0.11.1



first some interesting non fatal error from running autogen.sh:

Running intltoolize
Hmm...  Looks like a unified diff to me...
The text leading up to this was:

Later one critical:

I got around this one by deleting the spurious option in acinclude.m4,
so even later:

mv: rename po/POTFILES to po/POTFILES.tmp: No such file or directory
./configure: po/POTFILES.tmp: No such file or directory
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating po/Makefile.in
mv: po/Makefile.in: set owner/group (was: 1000/0): Operation not permitted
config.status: creating m4/Makefile
mv: m4/Makefile: set owner/group (was: 1000/0): Operation not permitted

(I guess it's caused by the failed patch in the beginning. Well, I got over this
one too.)

But then I finally run `make' and get this stopper:

$ make

Making all in lib
