RE: (no subject)



Before more confusion ensues, please note that "tar zxvf file" will not work
on Windows, which the OP uses at least part of the time.  Therefore, the
file must be unzipped and unarchived in two steps:

gzip -d file.tgz
tar -xf file.tar
